Complete serie of the 11 issues (1948-1950)




In december 1948, Eddie Barclay founded Jazz News,

a small monthly magazine that gave news from Jazz

and articles on records, especially "Blue Star" records.

From the 3rd No., appeared a chronic more or less regular from

a critical Jazz beginner, Boris Vian, next head of editorial

and manager edition from 8th Nov 1949.

Several other musicians like Hubert Fol, Claude Abadie,

Eddy Bernard & Hubert Rostaing collaborated to this revue.







Monthly Blue Star Revue.

B&W Photos, in and out texte.

Each issue of 24 pages, paperback, 24 cm.

11 No. edited only, from Christmas 1948 to June 1950.

In the center, a double page photo, in paper thicker.





Exceptional conditions for revues from this time !

Except No.3, all still have the subscription formular inside.

Some have a newsletter of "Blue Star" records.

Nevertheless, the No.5 has a trace of moisture below (2.5 x 3 cm)

(visible on photo no.3)

No separate page on any issue.

Slight traces of wear on all units.
